There's kind of a dream I have once in a while. Not a pleasant one, but not quite a nightmare. But it used to occur... Kind of often. It's based on a scene from a movie. Total Recall. The original one with Arnold. Remember that part in the end with him, the girl and the bad guy on mars without space suits... Yeah, not pleasant. If you've seen the movie, you'll know what I'm talking about. Choking and decompressing to death, blood boiling, eyes and tongue being forcibly sucked out of your head... Kinda like how Buzz Lightyear from the first Toy Story movie said it. Don't get me wrong, I like the movie just fine, but as soon as that scene comes up I can't stand to watch it. Some find it funny, but it really gets to me. Looks a little too real and gruesome. Anyways, I've had dreams of seeing that, or going through it... Now science tells us that you wouldn't even be awake to experience it for long. 15 seconds or so, then you're out cold from no oxygen. So I know it's an irrational fear, I'm never ever going to get to go to space to try it out for myself.
Oddly enough, it's kinda ironic that I would have bad dreams about what Arnold himself did in the start of the movie. 'Cept I don't wake up freaked out, I just sleep through the dream...
